Introduction

The Accounting (IAS) qualification is suitable for candidates who are working, or preparing to work, in an advanced accountancy role with a high degree of autonomy where they will be specifically required to produce and interpret financial statements in compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Candidates should have the knowledge and skills equivalent to the LCCI Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
Aim and Objectives of the Program
The aims of this qualification are to enable candidates to develop:

• the ability to prepare and interpret accounts for sole traders, partnerships, nontrading organisations, limited companies and groups of companies in accordance with basic accounting conventions and current international accounting practice
